The Le Pavillion served as the headquarters for Microsoft’s
superhero-themed kick-off held last July 6, 2006. The
venue was brimming with Microsoft partners from all
over the Philippines dressed in blue and orange capes.
Thrill and excitement filled the air as the various
officers from Microsoft, led by TJ Javier, gave their
year-end updates and forecasts for fiscal year 2007.
Flying from time to time is the Microsoft Kaakbay blimp
which dropped tiny balls to the awaiting audience. Each
ball was worth Php 1,000. Lucky catchers were awarded
the cash prize after the party.
Partners or Individuals with extraordinary contributions
for fiscal year 2006 were awarded Kaakbay trophies and
were recognized as part of the “League of Champions” by Microsoft.
ACA Pacific was awarded Finished Goods Distributor
of the Year. Pamela Cardenas, ACA Pacific Product Manager
for Microsoft, was also conferred with the Finished Goods
Product Manager of the Year award.
One of the highlights of the event was Mr. Pure Energy,
Gary Valenciano, who did a mini concert with the special
participation of his son, Gabriel, and two child performers.
The event was hosted by Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.
To cap the night was the Benta Arangkada raffle of the
Toyota Fortuner and Altis. Both winners were Product
Managers of their respective companies. The Toyota Altis
was awarded to Silicon Valley while the Toyota Fortuner
was awarded to Thinking Tools.
